The program is backed by a culture that values curiosity and collaboration, and you'll be supported by dedicated managers and mentors who are invested in your growth. As an intern or co-op, you'll work on meaningful projects with business impact, many centered on AI and emerging technologies, and contribute to driving decisions. Responsibilities

  • Help drive the creation of high-quality design deliverables (e.g., UI components, wireframes, visual layouts, and interactive prototypes) that reflect a relentless high bar for visual and functional excellence
  • Rapidly adopt and leverage AI and our design systems and visual frameworks to ensure consistency, speed, and brand alignment across customer touchpoints within your project areas
  • Partner closely with Senior Designers and cross-functional teams to deeply understand customer problems and apply design thinking methods to discover and validate elegant, user-centric solutions
  • Embrace speed and a bias for learning by using rapid, iterative prototyping to test assumptions, gather data, and quickly move from insight to execution
  • Actively solicit diverse feedback from peers and partners, and contribute constructively to design reviews, using sound rationale to inform team decisions
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with engineering, product management, and research teams to drive alignment and deliver polished, high-craft work

Qualifications

  • Current enrollment in a degree-seeking program (associate's, bachelor's, master's/MBA, or the equivalent) with an expected graduation date after the internship ends
  • Familiarity with AI tools and a curiosity about how AI can be applied to solve real-world problems
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for the duration of the internship
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment at an Intuit office location determined by your team and role (Relocation stipend will be provided)
  • An online portfolio that boldly showcases a high standard of design excellence and your creative process
  • Proficiency in modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite) and prototyping methods, demonstrating a bias for building and learning new technologies quickly
  • A deep passion for design and the drive to create products that not only resonate with customers on an emotional level but also clearly translate into business impact and customer prosperity
  • The ability to articulate complex problems simply and propose innovative, elegant solutions, clearly communicating the impact of designs and providing a logical framework to support conclusions
